Cantillon’s Gueuze is a traditional Belgian lambic beer, spontaneously fermented and bottled with a secondary fermentation in the bottle. Bottled at 6% ABV, this Gueuze presents a complex flavor profile characterized by tartness and funk, with notes of lemon, barnyard, and subtle fruit esters. Produced in Belgium and imported by Greffage Imports, it's crafted through a unique process utilizing unboiled wort cooled overnight in a coolship, allowing wild, native yeasts and bacteria to inoculate the beer.
The label itself is exceptionally minimalist, featuring only the brewery’s name, the beer style “GUEUZE BEER,” net contents, and governmental warnings in a simple, sans-serif font against a light background.
