PonySaurus Brewing Company presents Watermelon Saison, a summery Belgian-style saison brewed with real watermelon and honey. At 5.9% ABV, this beer is described as fantabulous—but refreshingly order-building—with flavors of wildflower honey, Belgian Saison yeast, Magnum hops, and, prominently, watermelon. The label artwork features a stylized, woodcut-style illustration of a dinosaur, specifically a Brontosaurus or Apatosaurus, rendered in shades of red and black.

Handcrafted and canned by PonySaurus Brewing LLC in Durham, North Carolina, the beer’s description playfully acknowledges that someone obviously knew what watermelon tasted like when naming it. Brewed using their new ILM beer pils flaytrap brewing, the label includes a detailed legal warning about responsible consumption and anthropomorphized summer season beers. It is a 16oz pint ale, made to be delicious.
