The News
A NEW POUR is a craft beverage festival in Philadelphia on April 19, 2026, showcasing offerings from Pink Boots Society Philadelphia members. The event runs from 2:00–3:00 PM for VIP admission and 3:00–7:00 PM for general admission at the Pennsylvania German Society. It takes place during the city’s 250th anniversary celebration and is held on the eve of the Craft Brewers Conference (CBC) in Philadelphia.
A NEW POUR event will take place on April 19th at the Pennsylvania German Society in Philadelphia. The festival, organized by the Pink Boots Society, focuses on women and non‑binary professionals in the craft beverage industry and serves as a prelude to the Craft Brewers Conference (CBC) that week.
The festival’s lineup of 25‑plus vendors—ranging from local brewers like Dogfish Head to emerging cider makers—offers a snapshot of Pennsylvania’s dense craft scene. The state accounts for $5.2 billion of the U.S. craft beer economic impact in 2024 and hosts 533 breweries that produce more than 2.6 million barrels annually.
The event’s timing is notable against national sales trends. In March 2026, craft beer sales dipped after two months of growth, with grocery‑channel losses offsetting gains in convenience stores. By holding A NEW POUR just before the CBC—expected to draw over 10,000 industry professionals—the festival gives distributors and retailers a focused laboratory to gauge off‑premise enthusiasm while broader category volumes wobble.
For distributors, the premises‑only nature of the event means there is no wholesale component. They can use the gathering as a market‑research tool: identify vendors whose products align with their current inventory gaps—especially those that echo the inclusive narrative—and then negotiate separate contracts for off‑premise supply.
Retailers benefit from the concentrated vendor mix by testing brand interest ahead of the CBC wave. Foot traffic at A NEW POUR can signal a brand’s appeal, providing a basis for pilot stocking in select stores before committing to a full rollout.
On‑premise managers gain visibility among craft beer aficionados who may become repeat patrons. The event offers tiered pour options: general admission tickets range from $35–$60 and VIPs from $75–$120, including exclusive pours and branded glassware. Managers can emulate this structure to create premium taproom experiences that reinforce brand storytelling.
Overall, the A NEW POUR festival presents a focused lens into a high‑volume market still navigating national sales decline. By aligning with a premises‑only event just before CBC week, operators can position themselves ahead of broader industry conversations, capitalize on an inclusive narrative, and identify partners who thrive in Pennsylvania’s competitive local landscape.

Philadelphia, PA — A NEW POUR is a craft beverage festival showcasing offerings from members of Pink Boots Society Philadelphia. Created to celebrate craft, community, and diversity in the beverage industry, the festival will feature a hand-selected lineup of vendors pouring beer, cider, wine, and other fermented and distilled beverages. Held in Philadelphia during the city’s 2026 250th celebration year, A NEW POUR highlights the people, creativity, and community that make the region’s craft beverage scene so distinctive.
Held on the eve of the Craft Brewers Conference in Philadelphia, A NEW POUR offers visiting industry professionals, local beverage lovers, and supporters of Pink Boots Society a chance to gather, learn, and celebrate before CBC begins the following day. CBC 2026 is scheduled for April 20–22, 2026, in Philadelphia.
Guests can also enjoy local food trucks, live music, and opportunities to connect with fellow craft beverage enthusiasts. Educational panels and seminars throughout the day will highlight industry professionals making a positive impact and helping shape a more inclusive future for fermentation and hospitality.
Proceeds from A NEW POUR benefit scholarships provided by the Pink Boots Society, whose mission is to assist, inspire, and encourage women and non-binary individuals in the fermented and alcoholic beverage industry through education and career development.
Jacqueline Rice, of Sly Fox Brewing Company and a Pink Boots Society member helping organize A NEW POUR, shared: “The fermentation beverage industry creates and anchors the community. Pubs and inns have long been gathering places—spaces that nurtured ideas, organized movements, and brought people comfort. As part of this industry, we continue that tradition by creating welcoming spaces while perfecting our craft. We craft for our community. Let’s raise each other, one pour at a time.”
