Hi, I’m John Jusko. I’m a graduate of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor—Class of 2025—with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Computer Science from the College of Engineering. I’m also the founder of BevWire.
Particularly in the AI era, the tools that power serious software development—IDEs, cloud services, APIs, testing and deployment platforms, and more—can add up fast. This scholarship is a small way to help entrepreneurial engineering students cover software and tooling costs so you can focus on building.
The BevWire Student Software Scholarship awards $250 to put toward any software or developer tools you choose—whatever best helps you ship your software startup.
I created this with University of Michigan engineering students in mind, but students at any university are welcome and encouraged to apply.
Who it’s for
Undergraduate or graduate students in engineering (or closely related technical fields) who are actively working on a software startup or a serious software project and can explain how the award will help you buy the tools you need.
