The News

Dora’s Naturals has launched Exhale Beverage Distributors, a new division focused on non-alcoholic and functional beverages. The subsidiary will represent New Brew, a brand known for its kratom and kava-infused seltzers. This move comes as consumer preferences shift toward better-for-you options, with the company aiming to capitalize on this trend through dedicated distribution strategies.

The Takeaway

  • Market Expansion: Dora's Naturals is creating a separate entity for non-alcoholic and functional beverages, showing they're taking this segment seriously enough to treat it as its own business. They’re partnering with New Brew, which makes seltzers with kratom and kava, targeting people looking for alternatives to alcohol.
  • Strategic Focus: By making Exhale a standalone division, Dora’s Naturals is aiming to move faster in the wellness-driven beverage market. This approach allows them to build stronger relationships with retailers who might not carry traditional spirits but could be interested in functional drinks like New Brew.
  • Consumer Trends: The shift toward better-for-you options is clear, and Dora’s Naturals is betting that people who buy their premium spirits might also want something functional for everyday drinking. This move reflects a growing demand for products that offer both taste and wellness benefits.

Original Press Release

New York, NY — March 27, 2026 — Dora’s Naturals, a leading distributor of premium natural and specialty food and beverage products, today announced the launch of Exhale Beverage Distributors, a wholly owned subsidiary dedicated to the rapidly growing non-alcoholic and functional beverage categories.

Exhale Beverage Distributors will leverage Dora’s Naturals’ extensive infrastructure, relationships, and market reach while operating as a focused, agile platform designed to capitalize on emerging consumer trends. By establishing Exhale as a standalone entity, the company aims to accelerate growth and innovation within high-demand segments such as functional beverages, alcohol alternatives, and wellness-driven drinks.

“Consumer preferences are shifting rapidly toward better-for-you, functional, and non-alcoholic options,” said Cyrus Schwartz, CEO and Founder of Dora’s Naturals. “With Exhale, we’re creating a dedicated platform that combines the scale and expertise of Dora’s with the focus and flexibility needed to win in these fast-growing categories. This allows us to move faster, partner more strategically, and build leading brands in the space.”

As its first brand partnership, Exhale Beverage Distributors will represent New Brew, a leading non-alcoholic functional beverage brand. New Brew produces euphoric seltzers formulated with a blend of kratom leaf, kava, and green tea, offering consumers a unique alternative to traditional alcoholic beverages.

“New Brew represents exactly the kind of innovative, category-defining brand we’re excited to bring to market,” added Schwartz. “It delivers a differentiated experience for consumers seeking relaxation and social enjoyment without alcohol, and we see significant opportunity for growth.”

Justin Wolf, CEO of New Brew, commented, “We at New Brew are very excited for the relationship with Dora’s Naturals and to be the first brand represented by Exhale Beverage Distributors. New York has been a cornerstone market for us since our brand launched, and we are extremely confident that with this new partnership many new consumers around the New York, New Jersey and Philadelphia areas will now have the opportunity to experience New Brew.”
