The News

Coastal Cocktails, a premium ready-to-drink cocktail brand, has announced a new distribution partnership with Craft Collective - Homegrown to provide statewide access to its products in Massachusetts. This follows an existing partnership with Colonial Beverage that covers southern Massachusetts and Cape Cod. The partnership begins in March 2025 and marks a significant milestone for the brand as it expands its presence across the state.

The Takeaway

  • Statewide Access: Coastal Cocktails is finally reaching the entire state of Massachusetts thanks to a new partnership with Craft Collective - Homegrown, which will handle distribution in most parts of the state. This means consumers from Boston to the Berkshires can now enjoy the brand's premium ready-to-drink cocktails.
  • Dual Distribution Strategy: The brand has partnered with two distributors—Colonial Beverage for southern Massachusetts and Cape Cod, and Craft Collective - Homegrown for the rest of the state—to ensure comprehensive coverage. This setup allows Coastal Cocktails to maintain a strong presence across different regions of the state.
  • Strategic Timing: The partnership is timed with the spring and summer seasons, which are peak times for cocktail consumption. This aligns with the brand's goal to capitalize on increased demand during these periods. The move also positions Coastal Cocktails as a key player in Massachusetts' growing canned cocktail market.
  • Curated Distribution Partner: Craft Collective - Homegrown is known for its focus on independent beverage brands, which makes them an ideal partner for Coastal Cocktails. Their expertise in curating and distributing unique products helps the brand maintain its premium image while expanding its footprint.

Coastal Cocktails Partners With Craft Collective - Homegrown, Achieving Statewide Massachusetts Distribution

Virginia Beach, VA – Coastal Cocktails, an award-winning brand of premium ready-to-drink cocktails in a can, is thrilled to announce a new distribution partnership with Craft Collective - Homegrown. Beginning this March, Craft Collective will distribute Coastal Cocktails throughout the majority of Massachusetts, joining the existing partnership with Colonial Beverage to complete the brand's statewide footprint.

This strategic expansion marks a significant milestone for Coastal Cocktails just in time for the spring and summer seasons. While Colonial Beverage continues its successful run supplying southern Massachusetts and Cape Cod, Craft Collective will now ensure the rest of the Bay State has access to the brand's highly sought-after lineup.

"We are incredibly excited to join forces with the team at Craft Collective, while continuing our fantastic relationship with Colonial Beverage," said Jarrod Lord, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Coastal Cocktails. "Massachusetts has a vibrant canned cocktail scene, and having two powerhouse distributors covering the state means we can finally bring the taste of the coast to everyone, from the Berkshires to Boston, and down through the Cape."

Craft Collective - Homegrown is renowned for its highly curated portfolio of independent beverage brands, making them the perfect partner to scale Coastal Cocktails' presence. Thanks to this expanded distribution network, Massachusetts residents will soon see Coastal Cocktails’ core lineup, featuring fan-favorites like the Orange Crush Vodka Cocktail and the Blackberry Bramble Gin Cocktail, arriving at their favorite local liquor stores and back bars throughout the state.

Bryan Ferguson, Chief Commercial Officer of Craft Collective Homegrown, says, “Coastal Cocktails has already built momentum in the RTD space, and we are excited to help grow the brand's presence across Massachusetts as part of Craft Collective Homegrown's portfolio. Their lineup of classic cocktails made with real spirits offers retailers a dependable, recognizable option in a fast-growing segment.”

Retailers in southern Massachusetts and the Cape Cod area should continue to order through their Colonial Beverage representatives. All other Massachusetts retailers interested in carrying Coastal Cocktails can reach out via Craft Collective's website, getcraft.co. Consumers can track down their nearest retailer by visiting the Coastal Cocktails locator on our website, coastalcocktails.com.
