The News

Lakewood Brewing Company announced the release of two new beers, Fruition Pineapple Ginger Blonde (4.2% ABV) and Raspberry Temptress (9.1% ABV), on May 20, 2026. The beers are available at its taproom in Garland, Texas, and on craft beer shelves across the state. The company also mentioned that it offers lunch services and expanded hours for its pub fare.

Craft beer sales slipped in early‑2026, according to Circana data, meaning new SKUs must compete harder for shelf and draft placement. In that environment Lakewood Brewing Company has added two new beers—Fruition Pineapple Ginger Blonde (4.2% ABV) and Raspberry Temptress (9.1% ABV)—both debuting at its Garland taproom with wider Texas distribution planned.

The Pineapple Ginger Blonde is a sessioner that blends bright pineapple and ginger, while Raspberry Temptress is a fruit‑infused milk stout. These two styles give Lakewood a dual‑tiered portfolio: a light, lower‑alcohol option for casual drinkers and a richer, higher‑ABV stout for enthusiasts.

Raspberry Temppress already holds the title of Texas’ top‑selling milk stout, giving it built‑in brand equity that can support the launch of the new sessioner. The seasonal nature of both SKUs aligns with typical summer draft demand, positioning Lakewood to capture a share of the on‑premise market during peak periods.

Lakewood’s Garland taproom has extended its hours to 11 a.m.–7 p.m., seven days a week, which could translate into higher draft volumes for the new releases. The brewery is also making both beers available on craft beer shelves across Texas, broadening their reach beyond the taproom.

Trade readers should note that Lakewood’s strategy of adding a low‑ABV sessioner while reinforcing its flagship stout leverages existing brand strength and aligns with consumer trends toward lower‑alcohol options. The combination of a strong market position for Raspberry Temptress and the introduction of a summer‑ready sessioner creates an opportunity for distributors to fill seasonal draft gaps.

Original Press Release

DALLAS (May 2026) – Lakewood Brewing Company has unleashed two new beers destined to become fan favorites at the North Texas family-owned brewery, taproom and beer garden. Fruition Pineapple Ginger Blonde and Raspberry Temptress are now available on tap at 2302 Executive Drive in Garland, as well as on craft beer shelves throughout Texas.

“If you don’t walk through our doors a beer lover, we hope you’ll find your perfect match by the time you leave,” said Wim Bens, founder and president of Lakewood Brewing Company. “We keep two dozen options rotating on tap that range from IPAs and lagers to popular seasonal releases and new varieties like Fruition Pineapple Ginger Blonde and Raspberry Temptress, one of the many riffs on our flagship Temptress.”

Fruition Pineapple Ginger Blonde (4.2% ABV) is light and ridiculously refreshing, with just the right pop of juicy pineapple up front and a little ginger spice on the finish to keep things interesting. Golden, bright, and built for easy drinking, it’s smooth and seriously crushable.

Raspberry Temptress (9.1% ABV) draws on Lakewood’s flagship Temptress, the top-selling milk stout in Texas, and is infused with fresh raspberries. Raspberry-forward with a hint of coffee, it was the first release in Lakewood’s limited Seduction Series and returns for summer.

Earlier this year, Lakewood opened for lunch, expanding its hours to serve up its “not your typical pub fare” alongside its award-winning craft beers. Open at 11 a.m. seven days a week, the Lakewood kitchen offers a lineup of shareables, salads, sandwiches, flatbread pizzas, and desserts, some featuring ingredients made with Lakewood beers.

Lakewood’s portfolio draws beer lovers worldwide to its taproom and beer garden, and can be located in stores and on tap across Texas with the Lakewood Beer Finder and by following @lakewoodbrewing on the socials.
