When Is NC Beer Month?
NC Beer Month is April. Governor Roy Cooper has proclaimed April as NC Beer Month in prior years, and the tradition continues. The North Carolina Craft Brewers Guild and Visit North Carolina coordinate the celebration, which includes festivals, brewery events, travel deals, and an NC Beer Passport to help visitors discover breweries statewide.[1][3]
Major NC Beer Month 2026 Events
Brewgaloo (Raleigh) — April 24–25, 2026
Brewgaloo is North Carolina's largest craft beer festival and the second-largest single-state craft beer festival in the United States. The 2026 edition runs April 24–25 in Downtown Raleigh on Fayetteville Street.[4]
- Friday Night Kick-Off Party (April 24, 6–10 PM): Ticketed tasting event with unlimited 3-oz samples of limited releases, barrel-aged beers, and sours. Many beers featured Friday are not available Saturday.[4]
